Timothy “Tozie” Mahoney

I am a lifelong native of Lafayette, Louisiana.

In 2002 I began my career in the oil and gas business as an Independent Landman.

My passion was buying and selling leases, mineral interests, and drilling prospects.

I thrived in this environment until 2016 when I decided to make several major life changes.

With an interest in business, I returned to the UL campus and in 2019 graduated with a BA degree in Economics while being on the Dean’s List.

I also made the career changing decision to enter the mortgage business.

In 2020 I became licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).

I was very fortunate to have discovered a new passion to apply my business skills.

My primary mission is to find you the best loan rates available in the marketplace.

My secondary mission is to provide an atmosphere for you that is stress free, and to make your purchase what it should be …  FUN and MEMORABLE.

I do this by educating my clients on all aspects of the process and key timelines, and by being available for your questions.
